2013 – 2021: lecturer, Communication & Multimedia Design (CMD), Avans Hogeschool, ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Next to teaching (list of courses), I was QA coordinator (2015–2019) and member of CMD’s assessment committee (2019–2021) and curriculum committee (2016–2019); and also member of research groups Human-Centred Creation (2018-2019) and Sustainable Working and Organising (2019-2022).
2008 – 2013: lecturer, ICT & Media Design and Game Design & Technology, Fontys Hogeschool, Eindhoven.
2005 – 2008: lecturer, Interaction Design and Game Design & Development, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU).
1998 – 2005: freelance multimedia designer/editor/producer. Among other things, I designed & edited the website of Dutch indie rock trio Caesar (1998–2008); I was an editor/assistant-producer for VPRO 3VOOR12 (2002–2004), writer & production manager at EKKO, Utrecht (2002–2005), and designed/built a bunch of other websites.

2011 – 2013: Tilburg University. MA, Philosophy (cum laude). Master’s thesis: Incredible simulations: scientific philosophy and the agent-based modelling of social phenomena, supervisors: Herman de Regt and Jan Sprenger.

1999 – 2003: HKU, Bachelor of Art & Technology, Digital Media Design (cum laude).
